In 1950, TOYO’s predecessor, Hinode Iron Works, completed the first rebar processing machine in Japan.
Since then, TOYO has earned a reputation as “TOYO for rebar processing machines,” and now accounts for approximately 80% of domestic demand.
We are now not only manufacturing rebar processing machines, but also designing factory equipment and layouts to achieve greater efficiency and labor savings throughout the entire rebar fabrication process.
As part of this effort, we are also focusing on the development of TLINKS, a productivity improvement support solution that utilizes IoT technology. This service promotes smart factories and includes remote monitoring and predictive maintenance functions.
We can do this because we are a pioneer in rebar processing machines.
We will give back to society by substituting our responsibilities for expanding possibilities.

Toyo Kensetsu Kohki Co., Ltd. has been a specialized manufacturer of rebar processing machinery since its establishment in 1959, growing alongside Japan’s rebar and construction industries. From the era when rebar was processed on-site to the present, where nearly all fabrication takes place in factories, we have grown together with the industry through close dialogue with customers of various sizes and businesses. Today, we hold a domestic market share of over 80%, thanks to the continued trust and support of our customers.
Beyond Japan, we have supplied our products to more than 40 countries and regions worldwide. The quality, productivity, and durability developed in earthquake-prone Japan are highly valued internationally. Moving forward, we will continue to find the best solutions together with our customers, based on local conditions and needs.
To further this mission, we have integrated the “hardware” technologies of rebar processing machinery with “software” technologies such as IoT and AI. This integration has led to the creation of “TLINKS,” a service designed to optimize the entire rebar processing workflow through the use of data. TLINKS not only improves plant productivity but also contributes to the digital transformation of the construction industry, enabling smarter, more efficient operations. Confident in TLINKS’ ongoing evolution alongside machinery advancements, we believe it will be a driving force in ushering a new era in the rebar industry.
